Seafarer 6.2m Sports Console Venom completely redefines the meaning of the words centre console. This huge 6.2 x 2.4 metre hull takes all of the outstanding innovations from the enormously successful Vamp, Vogue and Victory models, then adds storage, features, style and performance to produce a new model that has no equal anywhere in the Australian boating industry.

The Venom is the first of the extended pod models to offer a twin engine well. A standard underfloor tank of 240 litre capacity gives the boat enormous range, and an optional 350 litre tank is available if required.

Rough water performance takes up where the Victory left off. The hull has great buoyancy throughout, with plenty of lift forward to cope with close set seas, excellent low speed planing ability for really rough conditions, and a ride over chop you have to experience to believe. In the rough, the Venom is just sensational. 

A horseshoe shaped scat forward conceals three large storage bins, then there's another under the forward console scat. Two waterproof storage spaces have been built in to the coaming either side of the console, and there is a two metre kill tank under the foredeck floor.

Side pockets run the length of the boat with separate rod and gaff storage, then there are two shorter side pockets set a little higher in the coaming either side. Two large wells are set into the aft quarter decks, one of which is a live well, although both can be live wells if required.

The standard helm seating is a tram style lounge with reversible back and a huge amount of storage under, and a further large storage space can be found inside the console itself where dedicated space is also available for batteries, EPIRB, fire extinguisher and life jackets. As is always the case with seafarer models, any of the storage spaces can be insulated, With the console front seat designed to be used as an ice box.

The basic boat comes with seating for six adults which can be increased to accommodate ten if the optional rear drop, down lounge is fitted. Seating options include a burn bolster style helm scat, a straight bench with storage under, or pedestal mounted buckets. 

The console of this boat is a work of art that will he greatly appreciated by experienced boaters who have been frustrated by some of the helm designs of the past. Everything has its place in this complex moulding, and every single thing on the display area is easy to see and reach.
